Rainy, misty and snowing in the higher elevations. This is a relatively small park, but it has two nice driving parkways, one of which is the Red Rock Parkway. We could drive almost to the end, but the parking lot was under construction. We did see an elk along the way. The mountain peaks disappeared and re-emerged again as the clouds moved over them.

We then drove the Akimina Parkway to Cameron Lake. Again the snow and clouds made a dramatic scene. We got to the lake and at the visitor center and found rain, snow, fog and bone chilling. We came back to town, had lunch, walked through the shops and went back to the t
railer and had a nap.We decided to have dinner at the Prince of Wales hotel. The weather cleared and we got some great pictures.
The first picture with the lake and mist and boats and pier is very cool--very artsy fartsy--I think you should try entering it in one of those Budget Travel photo contests or something :-)
